The key purpose of the role is to provide physical security services, supporting Skynet personnel and ensuring the integrity of the site and its assets. Main Accountabilities:


- Respond to security incidents as per current security procedures.

- Operation and monitoring of the site CCTV, Access Control Systems, IDS and Fire Systems.
- Issue and receipt of keys.
- Make incident reports in the Daily Occurrence Book and additional report writing.
- Understand and respond to changes in the UK threat levels.
- Liaise with other Serco security personnel and line managers.
- To comply and contribute with the requirements of the Contract and KPIs and the Business Continuity Plan.
- Use of IT services and document control in line with contract and corporate guidelines.
- Carry out continual training and development.
- Any other duties within scope as required by the Site Security Manager.
- Flexible and prepared to cover security duties as required.

What you’ll need to do the role:


- Must hold a valid front-line SIA Security guarding or similar licence, Training provided if required.
- Strong security background.
- Customer service skills.
- Very good knowledge and understanding of MS Office tools.
- Full and valid car driving licence. (Manual Gearbox).
- First Aid at Work
- Must be able to achieve an SC Security Clearance

Standard Rate: £11.44 per hour + 33 days holiday pay

You will be working for a market-leading legal firm seeking a Legal Credit Controller to join their team to act as the main point of contact for billing and collection matters on a day-to-day basis to help maximise billings and collections.
Your new role

• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues (fee earners/partners etc.) and undertake regular calls/meetings to discuss WIP and accounts receivable balances to drive performance across the firm
• Maintain SLA's (service level agreements) and adhere to the governance framework ensuring the accuracy of billing
• Maintain extensive knowledge of all significant WIP and debt balances; report on and analyse the effects as to the short and long-term financial goals of each office
• Notify partners regarding delinquent accounts and respond as directed.
• Play a key role in ensuring the firm is achieving its cash targets by managing and supporting the credit controllers.
• Monitor missing timesheets and incorrect time recording behaviour and ensure that missing timesheets are promptly followed up.
• Play a key role in ensuring the firm is successfully meeting all billing deadlines and proactively supporting the Revenue Manager.
• Where appropriate, manage E-Billing clients and ensure the timely submission of invoices through the relevant E-Billing portals.

What you'll need to succeed

• Full right-to-work in the UK with prior experience working within a UK finance team.
• Prior experience of 3E, EBillingHub or Elite Enterprise is an advantage but not necessary.
• Prior experience working within a professional services environment, with WIP management experience
• Experienced dealing with all levels
• Knowledge of standard billing practices and procedures
• Experience working with MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Systems change management experience desirable

What is the role?

The role involves carrying out cleaning tasks at public conveniences. Our service is demand-led which means you will have to be able to assess what needs doing at each job and prioritise tasks that pose potential risks, dealing with these first and then carrying out the remainder of the cleaning tasks in an organised/systematic/methodical way.

In addition to daily activities, you may be required to carry out specialist cleaning tasks, such as steaming, jet-washing and buffing. Cleaning experience would be an advantage but not essential, as full training will be given. You will be required to carry out internal and external cleaning throughout the year working in all weathers.

You need to be flexible in where you work, including moving around different teams and housing areas, sometimes at short notice, in order to allow us to effectively run our service. It is imperative that you are reliable and a good timekeeper. You must have a good understanding of Health & Safety practices and be able to demonstrate safe methods of work when cleaning which promotes the health and safety of yourself and others. You will need to use equipment correctly and be prepared to carry out regular care and maintenance of the equipment provided.

In addition to cleaning around the estate, you will be required to deal with customer feedback which will involve speaking to residents as well as reporting bulky items, communal repairs and anti-social behaviour issues to the relevant departments. Good communication skills are essential, both over the phone and face-to-face. You will be working either in a small team or on your own and will be required to self-manage in order to meet our purpose at each job you are assigned.

The key purpose of the role is to provide physical security services, supporting Skynet personnel and ensuring the integrity of the site and its assets. Main Accountabilities:

This role will help to ensure we meet all customer requirements and will involve undertaking all physical security duties as and where required including patrolling, searching, and escorting visitors and contractors and maintaining the integrity of the site. The role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent time keeping and good customer service skills. Main responsibilities of the role include:


- Comply and contribute with the requirements of the contract and KPIs and the Business Continuity Plan.
- Comply with the SMS Policies Standards, GSOPs, CSOPs, LOPs and local MOD TCS procedures.
- Be aware of the Safety Risk and Compliance objectives set by Serco Defence and contribute to their completion.
- Understand and respond to changes in the Home Office threat levels and MOD Counter Terrorist Response Levels as instructed by higher authority.
- Act as first line defence to support the TCS site mission.
- Carry out patrols and escort duties, vehicle and bag searches as required.
- Correct operation of site CCTV, IDS, Entry Control Systems.
- Liaise with other Site Security personnel and outside agencies as appropriate.
- Assist the training of new Security Guards as required.

What you’ll need to do the role:


- Hold a Security Industry Authority Licence (SIA) to include First Aid at Work certificate
- Hold a valid Full UK
- Manual Driving Licence and willingness to drive company vehicles.
- Eligible UK Passport holder
- Effective communication skills.

- Experience of working in a secure government environment.
- Conversant with Microsoft Office Suites.
