DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


Adhere to all training provided such as COSHH & Risk Assessments.



Complete quarterly room checks on daily basis following standards for maintenance issues, ensuring remedial action is taken on any shortfalls.
Check public and back areas daily for maintenance issues, ensuring remedial action is taken on any shortfalls
Develop knowledge of hotel structure fixtures and fittings
Redecoration and refresh of public areas and guest bedrooms
Ensure that all maintenance requests are completed in a timely manner
Assist with preventative maintenance programme
Meet outside contractors arriving at the hotel, ensuring clear instructions from the maintenance manager
Follow and complete daily and weekly check lists of rooms and public areas
Organise any repairs in a manner that does not disturb guests
Ability to work on own initiative but, at the same time, be an integral part of the team



To cover the maintenance manager in his absence
To ensure health & safety checks including fire alarm testing, legionella flushing, emergency light testing, and site safety/security checks are carried out regularly maintaining the safety and welfare of our guests and staff.

Duties of a Lecturer;

About the role – A Day in the life of our Sales Manager.

This role contributes to the Cycas Hospitality vision, goals and values and is responsible for supporting the overall revenue and performance throughout the property. As an Hospitality Supervisor you would be working closely with the Hospitality Manager and Deputy Hospitality Manager based on site in one of our iconic venues, supporting the operations team, talented chefs and target driven sales people to deliver flawless service and exceptional food and drinks.

• Monitoring and serving all food and drinks to customers/clients/guest and clearing throughout the event.

Our Reservations Manager will direct the activities of the Reservations Department, and be responsible for the overall planning of groups, transient reservations and maximising inventory. Working closely with the central reservations and front office teams to convert transient reservations, you will drive group sales strategy in liaison with the hotels Front Office Manager, whilst maximising sales opportunities by passing all sales leads for new business to our dedicated sales teams.

This is an exciting reactive role that will support the established quality and guest service standards and departmental revenue and profit goals. You will work with our Front Office Manager to ensure the agreed strategies are executed for pricing, management of room inventory and/or the yield hurdle points, distribution OTA channels and market segment mix. You are key in ensuring the hotel capitalises its opportunities and maximises its revenues relating to all reservation channels.

Yours will be an extraordinary role:


Maximise conversion of all direct booking enquiries through electronic or voice channels.
Maintain procedures for security of credit and financial transactions, guest security/data protection.
Use company and Hyatt tools and systems and processes (Opera, Reserve, Hysat, Prio etc ) to maximise revenue.
Assist with developing plans to increase occupancy and ADR.
Support the Cluster Revenue Manager, by implementing the agreed revenue strategies via use of revenue systems on a daily basis. This includes the responsibility for any agreed manipulation of the yield hurdle points and daily inventory balancing where appropriate.
Understand the composition of hotel profitability and uses this to evaluate business from local accounts and groups so as to provide input to future rate setting and negotiation.
Manage all offline channels and any rate parity issues. Including but not to limited to room types and sells strategy.
Manage contracting relating to direct Group sales.
Manage incoming reservation enquiries and secure business in line with agreed strategies, booking policies and procedures.
