Looking for a new challenge? We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Project Officer to support with the delivery of the exciting UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF).
The post holder will support the administration of the UKSPF programme as well as managing a diverse portfolio of contracts. The role will suit an individual who has previous administrative experience and can prioritise and organise a busy workload whilst using their initiative and can communicate effectively across multiple stakeholders. In addition to this the post holder should be proficient at data handling and have the ability to monitor financial and impact performance of projects that have received funding through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
We will need you to have...
Experience of working with or within grant-funded projects and a sound understanding of the principles of grant administration and contract management
Knowledge of or a specialism in one of the following disciplines: business support; urban regeneration and placemaking; tourism; culture, arts and heritage
Experience of administration, including minute-taking, record keeping, data entry and proficient in multi-tasking.
An understanding of financial management and reporting
Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or above, including English and Maths
