An exciting position has arisen within Central Pharmacy Stores, supporting Purchasing, Supply and Logistics. You will work within a friendly team that is motivated to implement and contribute to automation and innovation to further develop and provide safe medication distribution to our patients.

You will provide and co ordinate robust Education and Training to our team and achieving key performance indicators for the Central Pharmacy.

You will be a key communicator providing excellent customer service to our service users.
• You will assist the Principal Technician – Purchasing, Supply and Logistics- Pharmacy to manage the daily requirements of the automated stock system (Robot) and the associated processes
• You will line manage the Advanced Level Specialist Pharmacy Assistant Logistics & Distribution in all areas and assist with referrals of complex service delivery problems
• You will be responsible for coordinating training provided to the Stores & Distribution team, to colleagues, rotational staff and pharmacy trainees as required
• You will assist Principal Technician – Purchasing, Supply and Logistics- Pharmacy by actively working towards maintaining key performance targets and monitor quality of service provided
• You will assist Principal Technician – Purchasing, Supply and Logistics- Pharmacy in ensuring Good Distribution practice (GDP) training is delivered and recorded for each member of the Stores & Distribution, rotational staff and pharmacy trainees as required
• You will be a key contact to communicate effectively with colleagues, wider pharmacy team and service users for updates on the automated system
