An exciting opportunity exists for a Maintenance Planner with our Longford site. This is a full-time position based in Longford, TAS 7301.
The Maintenance Planner is responsible for the integrity of all data in the CMMS system and the effective use of this data to achieve high efficiencies and effectiveness of the entire maintenance department at the facility in Stuart. This role will have primary responsibility for maintenance planning and scheduling to ensure the effectiveness through workload allocation and control. Develop detailed work plans for preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities, including:
Prioritize work orders based on urgency, equipment criticality, and resource availability.

Capture all downtime data and all cost data in relation to the tasks being undertaken.

About you:

Trade background
Mechanical / Electrical aptitude is essential
Previous experience with continuous high-speed processing and/or packaging equipment in a food production environment or relevant experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Computer literacy, CMMS knowledge/experience.
Astute negotiating, problem solving and decision-making ability
Superior time management, planning and organisational skills and attention to detail

We have a current opportunity for a Maintenance Officer on a temporary basis. The initial role will be for around 3 months however there will be long term/permanent opportunities within the organisation. Start would be as soon as possible.

You will join the maintenance team and the main duties will be:

• assist with reactive, cyclical, void and planned maintenance works for occupied and unoccupied housing from
• pre-inspection through to post inspection and customer satisfaction
• raising works orders
• managing internal and external contractors
• monitoring the standard and quality of works
• payment/management of invoices
• you will also manage legionella and asbestos issues related to works

The client is ideally looking for someone from a trades background who has experience working at an assistant or officer level or who has an HNC in construction.
