Historic England have a fantastic opportunity for you to join us as our Senior Information Governance Officer (Data protection), joining the Information Records Management team.
This is a full time post working 36 hours per week over 5 days, however, we are open to consider part time working from 3 days per week.
This role can be remote or hybrid working at our Bristol, Swindon, Manchester or York offices.

What you will be doing
As part of the Information Records Management team for Historic England, you will work across both Historic England and English Heritage Trust as part of a shared service to deliver compliance with Data Protection legislation, deputising as required for the Information Governance Manager.
There will be an emphasis on raising awareness of the information governance agenda and providing data protection advice, responding to data subject rights, and investigating and responding to data breaches.
This role is part of a professional and supportive Information and Records Management team which covers information rights, records management, IT knowledge management and training and information assurance.
