We're seeking an experienced individual with a background in finance, to join our manufacturing client's growing finance team as a Finance and Billing Assistant.

What's on offer?

Working as a Finance and Billing Assistant, your role will be to support the finance team in the accurate processing of financial transactions for suppliers and customers.

Day-to-day you will be:

• Processing invoices, ensuring they're coded correctly and match the purchase order
• Processing of expenses and credit card expenditure, liaising with suppliers and colleagues to resolve any queries
• Processing sales orders, ensuring they match contract terms and pricing information before invoicing
• Perform supplier payments and reconciliations investigating any discrepancies
• Reconciliation of intercompany payables
• Responsible for setting up new supplier accounts
• Assisting with investigation and resolution of GRNI account
• Maintenance of supplier master data
• Assist with year-end audit

To be successful in this Finance and Billing Assistant role, you'll have at least one year's previous experience in an accounts payable/accounts receivable role. With at least a year's experience in sales invoicing.

What will I do in this position if hired?

In this Local Hire (Hazard Mitigation Insurance Specialist) position, you will provide technical advice and information to staff concerning the process for flood insurance claims and the relationship of flood insurance with disaster assistance programs.

Typical assignments include:

• Analyzing and interpreting non-federal flood and non-flood property insurance policies.
• Responding to requests from staff assigned to the Disaster Recovery Centers, insurance agents, lenders, adjusters, and Federal, State and local government officials regarding flood insurance issues.
• Researching complex insurance issues (e.g., basement coverage, 30-day waiting period, how to file ICC claims) and following up as required.
• Distributing insurance information to disaster-affected communities (e.g., fliers, publications, videos, statistics, public service announcements, insurance availability).
• Answering homeowners' questions concerning National Flood Insurance Program policy, rules and regulations.

• Under the supervision of a Field Supervisor, performs activities related to the review, analysis, and processing of reports of examination; applications; and other duties of an administrative nature involving financial institutions in the Field Territory. This would include, among other things, the preparation of a summary of findings, memoranda and recommendations for the Regional Director, as well as miscellaneous correspondence directed to the Washington Office, State Banking Departments/Divisions, other Federal regulatory agencies, and financial institutions or holding companies.

• Provides technical advice, counsel and guidance to field examiners on policy, procedures, laws and regulations, examinations, including quality and content, or investigations involving banks or holding companies in the Field Territory.
• Initiates and maintains cooperative relationships with the appropriate State and Federal Supervisory Agencies in the applicable geographic locations encompassed by the Field Territory. Communicates with financial institution management and effectively responds to, or resolves, their questions, complaints, and inquiries. Responsible for conducting/reviewing off-site monitoring activities, Banker outreach contacts, responses to correspondence, and general on-going supervision of banks. As required, meets with insured depository institution officials and/or boards of directors to discuss the findings of examinations. In the absence of the Field Supervisor, assumes responsibility for the activities and affairs of the office.
• Implements the FDIC's Career Development Plans and Performance Management Program for assigned employees, including: (a) determining employee training/developmental needs, (b) assisting employees in preparing individual development plans, (c) monitoring employee progress in meeting developmental goals, (d) evaluating employee performance and related behaviors, seeks to secure correction of deficiencies noted, and (e) providing employees with ongoing feedback on their performance. The Supervisory Examiner's span of control should be no less than six direct reports.

The Role
