As a Night Senior Carer at a care home, you’ll look after the different needs of our client's residents to enable to deliver quality, person-centred care and support. Your role will involve supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager. You can also expect to support the clinical team in a specific area, such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews. * Location - Southall/West London
* Salary- 33k
* Monday to Friday- 40hrs/week (6am-2:30pm OR 2pm-10:30pm)
* 1 hour break

Requirements and skills

* Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance
standards
* Able to work in cold environment
* Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills
* Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations
* Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
* A genuine passion for cooking and creating delicious meals





Responsibilities
* To prepare a workflow and ensure that work is carried out methodically and hygienically
* Cleaning, preparation areas, storage areas and cooking areas
* Operates all machines and equipment in a manner that is safe to self and product
* Cooks batches as per recipe ensuring that no product is released to high risk unless authorised by the chef.
* Carries out duties and details assigned as per documented procedures
* Assists trained cooking operators by assembling recipe ingredients
* Records all codes and use by dates where required on recipe sheets so that the traceability system is maintained correctly
* Informs the shift Chef of any operational problems as and when they occur
* Carries out any other reasonable work that is required to be done to ensure the smooth functioning of the kitchen department, any other department or indeed the company
* Maintains all documentation as required by the documented system
