· (Entry-level, Unqualified): £23,962 - £24,627

What will I be doing as a Construction Teacher?
The main purpose of the role is to ensure that our learners achieve the appropriate construction knowledge and experience, alongside developing their employability, personal and social skills.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
• Develop appropriate learning resources, facilities, and environment to support high quality teaching and learning, preparing learners for the world of work/further study.
• Planning and delivery of lessons to learners at Level 1 and level 2, ensuring they gain qualifications successfully.
• Regularly assess and measure progress from starting points and attainment of skills and qualifications through ILPs.
• Evaluate and assess the work of learners in relation to the curriculum criteria and provide timely, constructive, and helpful learner feedback; helping learners develop the skills, knowledge, and behaviours to progress to their next steps.
Requirements for this role:
• Industry experience in construction including brickwork is essential.
• Proven experience of supporting others in developing technical/vocational skills
• L2 English & Maths is essential.
• A Teaching qualification, CET/PTTLS OR DET equivalent or above is preferred. However, support will be given to those willing to work towards a teaching qualification.
• An Enhanced with Barred Lists DBS check is essential.
