Job Description:
This role is the main user-facing role in CTSC and will provide an accessible and inclusive service to users, providing clear signposting and guidance to all users, coaching them in the use of the online platform and providing information to resolve their queries and processing/updating high-volume case details accurately and efficiently. They will deal with the immediate, short-term needs of service users. Duties will include but not be limited to

• Provide professional friendly support and guidance to users of online services via a variety of channels (telephone, webchat, email), in line with quality standards, to ensure the delivery of a high quality user-focused service on a daily basis and deliver a service focused on quality as well as timeliness
• Triage users to relevant services, using HMCTS prescribed service scripts and knowledge base on a daily basis, to ensure users get the right information they need at the right time, so that everyone understands what is needed and what will happen

• Undertake case-readiness assessment and progress the case to the next phase, and providing information to allow users to understand what the next stage is and what they can expect next
• Identify users requiring extra/different support and undertaking basic assessment of users' Assisted Digital needs, in accordance with procedure and referring suitable cases to a third party supplier on a daily basis, to ensure users understand and can participate in the new digital process
• To handle, and where possible resolve, first contact user complaints in accordance with predefined HMCTS policy and procedures so that users feel they have been listened to and that their complaint has been handled fairly. Update the CRM system so details do not have to be repeated to a different CTSC Support Officer
• Read relevant Knowledge articles to maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge of processes and systems, to be able to provide users with the right information, when they need it with no delay or confusion
• Proactively engage with HMCTS workforce planning / shift allocation tools to ensure business requirements are being met
• Work as part of the team in considering continuous improvements necessary for effective delivery and feeding these into the wider CI channels

Wellow Unit specialises in providing holistic care to people in their last hours to days of life within St Marys Hospital. Currently based within the Compton Ward template, Wellow Unit consists of 3 side rooms providing nurse led care. During times of increased demand, we can flex up to 6 beds depending upon the side room availability on Compton Ward. We are a nurse led team working collaboratively with the Hospital Integrated Palliative and End of Life Team (IPET) who take hospital referrals, assess, plan, and review the symptom control of those patients in our care. The unit is overseen by our Consultant Nurse. Our aim is to provide a supportive environment in which patients receive the optimal level of care and symptom control at their end of their lives, and one in which their loved ones feel able to be present and supported in the way they wish to be. The Pharmacy Team based out of St Marys Hospital are energetic and forward looking, with a strong culture of patient safety and service quality. We believe in technology supporting excellent clinical practice and releasing time to care, with the JAC electronic prescribing and medicines administration (EPMA) having been embedded in practice for over 10 years. It is used creatively to enhance clinical practice with a fully integrated Omnicell medicines management system that seamlessly interfaces EPMA with pharmacy dispensing, stock control, clinical area automated medicines cabinetry (Omnicells) and further robotics within the Pharmacy department.

As a specialist rotational clinical pharmacist, you will work closely with the multidisciplinary team and attend Consultant-led ward rounds to inform and influence prescribing decisions. You will be able to do this across a range of clinical areas including our Emergency Department and Acute Assessment Unit. Other areas include General Medicine, Stroke, Care of Older People, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Mental Health, Oncology, Haematology and Hospice care.

You will be supported to complete your foundation training as a pharmacist and develop your specialist skills in a range of clinical areas. This will help prepare you for future advanced-level practice. We will also provide training to support your leadership and management skills. Further to this there are also many other training opportunities with paid study leave available.

The Pharmacy Team provide a core weekday service with some weekend and on-call duties which post-holders may form part of. On-call pharmacist duties are undertaken from home and calls are first screened via the Trust Clinical Site Management Team to ensure they are appropriate. All Pharmacists are supplied with their own Trust laptop at induction. Its possible to dispense urgent medication via your laptop from home through the robots out of hours shute if required.

As the Financial Controller, you will oversee the whole finance department and report directly to the Managing Director. You will be responsible for timely and correct management accounting across multiple sites, including integrating newly acquired businesses and advancements into the trading organization. The Financial Controller will collaborate with each site to guarantee accurate reporting.

• Salary - £45,000 - £50,000 per annum depending on experience.

You will have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail with a good understanding of financial operating systems.

Duties will include:

• Full production of monthly management accounts including analysis and commentary
• Prepare company budgets, forecasts and cash flow
• Reconcile balance sheet
• Control of fixed asset register
• Responsible for payroll and pensions
• Oversee Purchase & Sales Ledger
• Credit control & debt management
• Complete all HMRC returns including VAT and other statutory returns
• Leadership and management of two team members

Requirements

• Fully qualified accountant with at least 3 years' experience. Preferred: ACCA, AAT (level 4), CIMA, ICAEW
• Solid technical background
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organisational skills
• Able to use standard Microsoft office packages: Word, Excel.
• A hands-on, can-do attitude with initiative to work well individually and in a team

Preferred experience, but not essential

• Experience of Quick Books
• Previous staff management
