Abbey View is one of 17 Paragon sites across the UK. The site specialises in production of outbound and inbound document services. The site contains printing, mailing and warehousing capability for the purposes of outbound mail and postal and electronic receipt, capture, validation, and document storage for the purposes of inbound mail. In addition, Production Services, Finance, and IT functions
reside on the site. Both Inbound and Outbound operations provide services for multiple customers.
JOB TITLE: Auto Mail Operator
REPORTS TO Senior Operator
JOB LOCATION Wymondham, Abbey View Site
SALARY: £27,535.51 including 15% shift allowance
HOURS: Week 1 – Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, contracted
hours, working 7.00am to 7.00pm, working 11 hours per shift.
Week 2 – Monday and Tuesday, working 7.00am to 7.00pm, working 11
hours per shift.
Total = 80.5 = Average = 40.25 per week
OVERVIEW &PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Working as part of a team in a Production environment, you will
undertake the operating of various equipment. This could include various
Bluecrest auto fulfilment machines and Bluecrest sortation machines. This
fulfilment will be undertaken in accordance to established job
specifications and procedures. The job is a physical job, and you will be
required to be on your feet all shifts.You may also be required to obtain and return stock from various locations a cross the production floor as well as supporting other Operators when required. You will need to adhere to quality and output targets and must also show an all-round willingness to complete other tasks as requested.
Basic PC skills will also be required for various MI tasks such as Recording
job run details, booking jobs off to agreed dispatch methods and stock requests.
