As a SENIOR CONOPS ANALYST at the GS-0301-15 some of your typical work assignments may include:

• Regularly inform the Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Director, Office of Net Assessment (ONA) on
  emerging CONEMPs and the status of Critical Capabilities.
• Integrating CONOPS and CONEMPs into myriad analytic efforts, such as wargames (A warfare model/simulation that does not involve actual military forces but involves multiple players representing opposing sides.
• Builds and maintains a broad and comprehensive set of compartmented CONEMPs informed by exquisite intelligence in support of Joint Wargaming, Experimentation, and Concept Development for DoD and in concert with the wider intelligence community (CIA, NGA, NSA).

Must be able to utilize this assessment in facilitating the Veteran's maximum use of treatment to attain the highest level of functioning and independence as possible. Develops a preliminary disposition plan involving the Veteran, and family or significant others.
• Uses social work clinical training, insight, and experience to interpret data to identify treatment options. Performs insightful assessment of serious and complicated cases, makes professional decisions and recommendations for treatment for Veterans, subject to administrator and medical approval.
• Must possess knowledge and ability to independently implement treatment modalities, provide skill-based and Evidenced-Based Psychotherapies in group and individual therapy for Veterans and their families in the BHIP team, and as needed, Specialty Mental Health Programs (e.g. PTSD Clinical Team, Substance Abuse programs, Military Sexual Trauma). At a minimum, must be able to practice trauma-informed mental health care, as the Veteran population has high rates of exposure to trauma.

This announcement is for a position as a CORE (Cadre of On-Call Response/Recovery Employee). They can be hired under a streamlined process instead of a competitive process. The technician must be competent in the production, use, recognition, and analysis of ultrasound images and patterns used for patient diagnosis and treatment. The sonographer is regarded as the expert source and the interpreting radiologist relies heavily on the skills, knowledge, and abilities of the sonographers in providing a final interpretation.
a. Performs all ultrasound examinations ranging from the routine to the highly specialized. Performance of the examination requires proper alignment and position of the patient. Sets up and adjusts all equipment and manually maneuvers the transducer to perform the exam. Performs ultrasound examinations of the breast, axillary, abdomen, neck, chest, extremities, trans vesical/transvaginal pelvis imaging, and retroperitoneal space for purpose of acquiring high quality examinations that assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patient medical disorders.
b. Performs vascular imaging, both arterial and venous.
c. Perform contrast enhanced ultrasound.
d. Performs Ultrasound Elastography.
