PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) who practices both autonomously and in collaboration with a variety of health providers on the interprofessional team to deliver high-quality, holistic, evidence-based anesthesia and pain care services. The CRNA cares for patients at all acuity levels across the lifespan in a variety of settings for procedures including, but not limited to, surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, therapeutic, and pain management.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform and document the pre anesthesia assessment and evaluation of the patient.
• Review, request, and order (as permitted by state law), laboratory/diagnostic studies.
• Obtain informed consent for anesthesia and related services.
• Select, obtain, order, and administer preanesthetic medication or treatment.
• Develop and implement an anesthesia care plan.
• Select, obtain, prepare, and use equipment, invasive and non-invasive monitors, supplies, and drugs for the administration of sedation, anesthesia, and pain management services; perform safety checks as needed.
• Select, order, obtain, and administer analgesic and anesthetic agents, adjuvant drugs, accessory drugs, fluids, necessary to provide anesthesia services.
• Document a time- based record of events during peri-anesthetic care
• Perform all aspects of airway management, including fiberoptic intubation.
• Facilitate emergence and recovery from anesthesia by evaluating patient response, and selecting, ordering, and administering medications, fluids, and ventilator support to maintain patient stability during transfer.
• Initiate and administer post-anesthesia pharmacological or fluid support of the cardiovascular system.
• Initiate and administer respiratory support to ensure adequate ventilation and oxygenation in the post anesthesia period.
• Evaluate the patient’s response to anesthesia and surgery; take appropriate corrective action post anesthesia.
• Provide post anesthesia follow-up evaluation care
• Discharge the patient from the post anesthesia care unit
• Implement acute and chronic pain management modalities
• Manage emergency situations by assessing, stabilizing, and determining disposition of patients, including providing airway management, administration of emergency
• Place and manage regional anesthetic techniques, as delineated by his or her clinical privileges or granted special privileges.
  • Insert and manage peripheral, arterial, pulmonary catheter, or central venous lines and catheters.
  • Provide patient and caregiver education.
  • Consult with respiratory care providers and Implement respiratory and ventilator care when appropriate. 
• Supports patient safety when performing his or her job functions and through participation in facility, department, or unit patient safety initiatives.
  • Takes action to correct observed risks to patient safety.
  • Reports adverse events and near misses to appropriate management authority.
  • Identifies possible risks in processes, procedures, devices and communicates the same to those in charge.
  • Using an interdisciplinary approach, including consultation or referral to another clinician, as appropriate.

• Perform advanced and interventional pain management using drugs, regional anesthetic techniques, or other accepted pain relief modalities with or without fluoroscopic guidance.
• Utilize ultrasound, fluoroscopy, as appropriate. 
• Participates in center quality meetings, medical executive meetings and other management meetings upon request from the Medical Director.
• Review and comply with the Code of Business Conduct and all applicable company policies and procedures, local state and federal laws and regulations
• Other duties as assigned

• The work environment is characteristic of a health care facility with air temperature control and moderate noise levels. Position Requires ability to lift objects heavier than 50 pounds.

EDUCATION AND REQUIRED CREDENTIALS:

• Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.
• Current Appropriate State Licensure and complies with any applicable state statutory and regulatory requirements concerning CRNAs.
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Is currently certified or recertified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists.
• Insurable by an appropriate medical malpractice insurer for the limits required by this institution or state.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

• 8 – 12 years’ related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5 years CRNA experience preferred
• Ability to perform clinically as a nurse anesthetist in the facility setting on a regular basis.
• Ability to operate, use, and interpret data from a wide variety of equipment to perform anesthesia care as well as necessary perioperative or operating room care to support the safety and wellbeing of the patient while they are under the direct care of the CRNA.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills are required to effectively collaborate with various clinical staff and other disciplines.
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patient population(s) served.
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s requirements relative to his or her population-specific and age specific needs.

Team responsibilities include the publication of Prepared Price Lists, execution of customer specific private label price lists, and market-based formula pricing utilizing complex Excel formulas. This role involves using SAP for price management, Forge Blacksmith for trade programs and promotions, Urner Barry Comtell for market quotations and statistics. The position supports all sales channels of the Food Service group encompassing distribution, national accounts, commercial chains, K-12, CVP, industrial, and non-commercial sectors. This position will work closely with IT counterparts and large Food Service customers to troubleshoot and transmit EDI price records to minimize pricing discrepancies. The position will provide support to the business in reporting and analyzing pricing as well as building processes that continually mitigate the risk of error. The position is actively involved in any system software integration related to pricing. Other duties for this position include working with Finance on Gross Sales forecasts, analysis of pricing, recovery model resolution of pricing deductions, ad hoc reporting and performing other responsibilities as the need arises.

• Education: Prefer bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business; alternately commensurate work experience will be considered
• Experience: 2-4 plus years.
• Computer Skills: Requires advanced computer skills including a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Analysis for Excel, SAP, Forge Blacksmith, and Power BI experience preferred.
• Special Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects while delivering results in a timely manner; detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills. Foodservice industry experience a plus.
• Communication Skills: Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of management.

The US Diversified group within the Corporate Bank underwrites and manages the firm’s large corporate (public and private) syndicated loan portfolio across Industrials, FC&R, Technology and Business Services sectors.  The team supports both our product and coverage partners by allocating capital to revolver, term loans, and ancillary business products. Job description

The Analyst will serve as a key member of the deal team in the underwriting, credit approval, and portfolio management; supporting the deal team by analyzing financial and operating data for trends in financial performance of companies and industries.  The Analyst will be involved in the initial screening of transactions, due diligence, credit approval, and negotiation of legal documentation. The Analyst will help assess BMO’s hold appetite across revolvers and term loans. Experienced Analysts will participate in client pitches to help support cross-selling opportunities for hedging and other traditional corporate banking products.

Primary Function and Responsibilities

New Underwritings

• Use independent critical thinking skills to analyze historical financial performance, create Base/Stress case financial projection models, develop risks and mitigants, business strengths, and credit rationale for completing a transaction
• Work across groups to compile diligence lists and lead diligence calls with company management teams and other lenders
• Complete risk / return models for new deals
• Collaborate with colleagues on different teams (Leveraged Finance, Investment Banking Industry Coverage, Ancillary Product groups) on materials for committee meetings attended by senior leaders across the bank
• Address questions from the Investment Committee and Credit team to support new transactions

Portfolio Management

• Review and monitor Borrowers’ financial statements for potential changes which may affect the Borrower’s performance through detailed review of quarterly financial statements, participation in quarterly lender calls, and ongoing dialogue with management teams
• Prepare concise credit analysis and other correspondence on a quarterly basis for certain Borrowers, and on an annual basis for all Borrowers
• Assess Borrowers’ internal risk rating on a regular basis based on their financial performance and changes to the qualitative aspects of the business
• Evaluate opportunities for new business (ancillary products such as FX and interest rate hedging and cash management) with existing Borrowers
• Conduct analysis and comprehensive review of industry trends and comparable transactions in the industry

Relationship Management

• Assist in the preparation of pitch materials for client meetings and cross-sell of corporate banking products
• Experienced analysts will participate in client pitches to help support cross-selling opportunities for hedging and other traditional corporate banking products

Education/Professional Experience

• An undergraduate degree with academic coursework in finance, economics, or accounting and an outstanding academic achievement
• 1 - 3 years of relevant experience within investment banking, corporate banking, corporate credit, commercial banking or capital markets
• Completion of a financial analysis credit training program preferable

Skills:

• Excellent analytical skills pertaining to business, financial, and credit analysis
• Skilled in building complex three-statement financial models
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products, notably MS Excel

What You’ll Do

The Jr. Engineer – will be responsible for assisting with strategic initiatives for the enterprise, assisting the Service Desk and Desktop Engineering teams, and provide technical assistance to our internal customers. This position will primarily provide on-site support for corporate employees and guests to our sites while serving as a steppingstone to other engineering roles across the organization. The Jr. Engineer at Ascent will report directly to the Help Desk Manager.

• Provide end-user advocacy; must take ownership of the end-user experience (EUX).

• Serve as a level 2 escalation point of contact for the Service Desk.
• Possess a knack for process improvement.
• Handle multiple project priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Possess excellent facilitation and communication skills.
• Possess the ability to develop alternative solutions in the absence of more desirable options.
• Assist with SCCM collections, applications, packages, task sequences and reports.
• Assist with administration of Microsoft Intune enterprise mobility management software.
• Assist with management of Active Directory User and Computers.
• Assist with management of Group Policies Objects (GPO) for Users, Computers and Groups.
• Develop use case models for desktop/laptop hardware; identify workforce computing requirements; provide feedback from end-users regarding EUX improvement opportunities.
• Develop mastery of Powershell scripting to reliably automate repetitive administration functions.
• Develop documentation and job aids such as knowledge base articles (KBA) for ongoing support and knowledge transfer.

What You’ll Bring

• At least 3 years of experience supporting Windows in a large organization.

• Between 1-3 years of hands-on experience developing and supporting an SCCM infrastructure of 2000 or more endpoints.
• Between 1-3 years of experience supporting desktop/laptop hardware and application control/governance.
• At least 1 year of experience supporting Active Directory (specifically Users and Computers, GPO).
• At least 1 year of experience supporting an enterprise print management environment.
• Moderate to advanced understanding of operating systems, network/system architecture, protocols, and enterprise services.
• Superior organizational, social, coordination, and follow-up skills.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable leading, educating, and motivating others.
• Autonomous and creative problem solver.
• Team player; must prioritize communication and commitment to the team.
• ITIL certification ideal; experience working within an ITIL organization is required.
• MSCE or similar certification ideal, but not required.
• Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-103) certification ideal, but not required.
• Hardware (primarily x86 and AMD) configuration and troubleshooting experience required.
• Network+, Server+ or similar certifications ideal, but not required; networking experience is required.
• Process documentation and process improvement focus is required.
• Disaster recovery planning/business continuity planning experience is ideal.
• The ideal Desktop Support Analyst will have experience in many or most of the following technologies or platforms:
  • Client Operating Systems – Windows 10
  • Client Hardware Architectures – X86, AMD
  • Server Operating Systems – Window 2008, 2012, 2016
  • Print Management – HP, Sharp, Cannon
