• Assists the Child Development Center Director in the daily operations of the Child Development Center.
• Assists in the administration and evaluation of ongoing programs of individual and group developmental and educational activities for staff implementation and execution.

PRIMARY PURPOSE: To serve as Director. Mission Support Directorate, exercising supervisory and managerial authorities over the Mission Support Directorate. Represents. advocates and serves as Command and Control (C2) Systems Subject Matter Expert for the Commander on Global Air Mobility mission support at the strategic, operational and tactical levels covering a wide range of responsibilities such as advocating and integrating new C2 software applications to increase mobility air force planning, tasking. execution and assessment efficiencies, resolving complex personnel and financial issues involving military. civilian and contract personnel for the organi7.ation and HQ 18 AF. and developing and advocating courses of action for global operations based on predictive analysis techniques.

DUTIES:

1. Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the Mission Support Directorate.
2. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
3. Represents the Mission Support Directorate and/or 618 TACC with a variety of AF, Joint Command agencies and interested organizations.
4. Collaborates with various agency representatives from DoD. Government and non-governmental agencies to provide technical expertise related to air mobility support.
5. Manages 618 TACC resources, including annual budgets, equipment. and personnel.

SUMMARY: The primary purpose of this position is to exercise second level supervisory and managerial authorities over Air Force Junior ROTC Worldwide. Serves as Director during extended absences, deployments, and breaks between incumbent. Responsible for all aspects of the AFJROTC Program. Represents the Air Force at the service-level to DoD, works through Office of Legislative Affairs (OLA) to respond to Congress and Senators on Congressional inquiries on program issues. The Deputy Director manages a $100M budget to include the formulation; justification; and execution of budgets and works POM issues for the AFJROTC programs, or projects.
