Hours: 35 hours per week/ 70 hours over two weeks (nine-day fortnight)

As Director of IT & Systems, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of the organisation's information technology and systems infrastructure.
You’ll be responsible for strategic planning, improving and maintaining the security and efficiency of IT operations, and ensuring technology initiatives are aligned with and support the delivery of the overall business objectives of Housing 21
You’ll lead our IT and Systems Teams, driving a customer focussed, high performing culture demonstrating your passion for empowering and developing your team.
You’ll build strong relationships and work in collaboration across the organisation, to deliver the strategy and achieve our vision.
This is a home based role, with frequent travel required to our Head Office in Birmingham and to sites across England as part of engaging with the wider business.

What we’re looking for
The essential requirements for the role include:
- Relevant degree, qualifications or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of IT management principles, ITIL and project governance .
- Experience of delivering technology enabled transformation in a multi-site and growing service industry.

- Experience in leading the development, implementation, and management of information technology and systems infrastructure
- Experience in developing strategic direction and implementing policy in line with organizational strategic objectives
Due to the nature of the role, an offer of employment will be subject to the satisfactory completion of a DBS check.
