As a Hospital Director at our Cheltenham Hospital, you'll inspire and lead the hospital's leadership team and create a culture which embraces, embeds and role models the 'We care' values & behaviours. You'll manage and develop diverse relationships working with consultants, GPs, the NHS and other external bodies to drive a patient centric culture, where care is proactively managed, the right conversations are had as a matter of course, and individuals are developed. This is a great opportunity for someone with commercial and/or clinical experience, in independent healthcare.

As Registered Manager and a 'fit and proper person' as defined by the CQC, you'll ensure continued development of external support networks and be accountable for meeting all CQC requirements, utilising and drawing on expertise within the relevant support functions where appropriate.

• Operational performance of the hospital including full financial and budget responsibility.

• Delivering profitable growth and operational efficiency as well as ensuring all commercial opportunities are identified and mobilised where appropriate.

The hospital has 33 ensuite private bedrooms, 3 theatres and a small ambulatory unit. It also hosts a purpose built close observation unit, 12 consulting rooms with access to treatment rooms, diagnostic services including; plain x-ray, MRI, CT, mammography and ultrasound.

We provide a full range of medical and surgical specialities delivered in state-of-the-art clinical facilities, including orthopaedics, cosmetic surgery, spinal services, sports injury, ENT, gynaecology, urology, as well as a rapid access breast clinic.

As a member of the Board, you'll be expected to:

• Ensure that Two Rivers Housing is managed efficiently, effectively and in line with the requirements of the law, regulatory bodies, and best practice.
• Participate fully in the planning of Two Rivers Housing's strategic direction, setting objectives and monitoring performance accordingly.
• Develop a constructive working relationship with the Chair, executives and other Non-Executive Directors, providing support and guidance in areas of your particular expertise and knowledge.
• Support and promote tenant and customer involvement and maintain a customer focus.
• Ensure that decisions taken by the Board are in Two Rivers Housing's best interests and that its legal responsibilities are met.
• Attend Board and committee meetings regularly, participate fully in discussions, and share responsibility for the decision-making process.
• Be an ambassador for the Group and be accountable to its key stakeholders.

Key Details

• Term: Three years with the option to extend to a total of six years.
• Renumeration: £4,240 per annum, along with the reimbursement of any out-of-pocket expenses.
• Time Commitment: Six board meetings per year at our office in Newent, along with sub-committees that meet online throughout the year.
• Additional meetings may be held as and when required, and our board members are encouraged to attend conferences and events where possible and to dedicate some time to learning and development.

The chief inspector, aerospace inspector role will involve the following responsibilities

• Candidates suited to this role are likely to have a related engineering background, City + Guilds/NVQ or equivalent qualifications and or specific quality related qualifications.
• Ideally you will have aerospace and or precision engineering quality inspection standards i.e. experience in ISO9001:2015
• Experience of utilising CMM machines, Aberlink software is of particular interest but not essential
• Computer literate, understanding of MRP and ERP Systems to record information
• Understanding of FMEA and PFMEA where required, non-conformance reporting
• Understanding of Gauge R & R
