Kimberley Hotel in Halls Creek WA is seeking enthusiastic and efficient Housekeeping Team Leaders
2 Full-time positions, 38hrs/week available

Our venue consists of an 80 room hotel with a la carte restaurant, 3 bars (sports, cocktail & saloon) and bistro dining alongside a 100 Single person quarter camp and associated catering arrangement with a local resource company. Most of the up to 50 staff also live on-site and this is the only pub in the town of over 1,500 residents plus a seasonal tourist trade. Make no mistake, this is a very busy hotel and to live, work, experience and explore the Kimberley region.

Key responsibilities & requirements:
• Assist in the Management & Leadership within the Housekeeping environment;
• Consult with GM/HR on any staff issues;
• Comply with the Company processes governing Housekeeping;
• Ensure all Incidents/repairs are reported through KA Incident Reporting system;
• Ensure rooms are cleaned and maintained as per the requirements of room turnover;
• Liaise with Reception on updating CMS on room vacancies, preparedness daily and OOO accommodation;
• Carry out daily work schedule and room assignments with minimum disruption to guests;

What you'll bring

You are probably an existing Head Chef, Kitchen Manager or Sous Chef looking for your first step into a Head Chef role.
You will have experience of working with fresh ingredients and be able to demonstrate good chef/kitchen skills (food prep hot and cold, cleaning, knife skills, good hygiene practices)
Your work ethic is rolling your sleeves up and getting stuck in and leading from the front; playing an active role in delivering excellent kitchen and food standards as part of a high performing team.
Familiar with managing through clear KPIs and making decisions considering labour; stock; food safety requirements plus others.
You will have worked in kitchen environments where you're required to report on various metrics including GPs; labour/house; food preparation.
You will have demonstrated successful delivery of training and recruitment for kitchen teams including Apprentices, KPs, Chefs, Junior Sous Chefs and Sous Chefs.
