Are you an experienced and dedicated professional seeking a fulfilling opportunity to support a child with Autism in their educational journey?
We are seeking a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a Year 5 pupil with a diagnosis of Autism.
The pupil, who is verbal and high-functioning, has a keen interest in Art and Music.
This long-term position will run for the entire academic year, offering a chance to make a meaningful difference in a child's learning and development.
- Provide 1:1 support to a Year 5 pupil, focusing on behaviour management and learning.
- Collaborate with the KS2 team to plan and deliver engaging, tailored activities for small groups.
- Apply firm but fair behaviour management skills to support a positive learning environment.
This is a full-time role, working five days a week.
- Have prior experience working in a primary school setting.
- Be a team player, working collaboratively with teachers, pupils, and parents.
- Demonstrate commitment, dedication, and resilience in your previous roles.
- Have the ability to manage challenging behaviour effectively.
- Ideally, be based locally to Hammersmith & Fulham or willing to commute.
