Your Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll play a crucial part in helping students engage with their learning. You'll provide personalised support, encouraging confidence and independence in each child.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer one-on-one and small group support tailored to individual learning needs.
- Assist teachers in lesson planning and classroom activities.
- Track and report on student progress, communicating effectively with educators and parents.
- Build positive relationships with students to foster their social and emotional development.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and specialists to provide comprehensive support.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting.
- Qualifications in special education or child development are a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, empathetic approach with a genuine passion for student success.
- Flexibility to adapt to various needs and situations.
