About the role

As a Care Assistant at MHA you will provide the highest quality of care to our residents enabling them to live later life well. Duties will be varied and include supporting our residents with personal care needs and helping them to take part in a wide range of activities that support their health and wellbeing. What do you need to be a Junior Sous Chef? Well, your main duties and responsibilities will be supporting the Head Chef to complete all elements of Kitchen operation involved within our iasg Restaurant. Our Junior Sous Chef will ensure that all food prepared in a timely manner to the highest quality and that the guest expectations are consistently exceeded in line with a Kimpton stay. So, we are looking for someone who has…

• Availability to work 40 hours per week across 4 shifts (weekend and evening availability essential)
• Experience as a Chef de Partie or Senior Chef de Partie within a similar style of venue, with proven success and evidence of progression
• Experience supervising and training a team would be a benefit, you will be someone who is passionate about training and developing your team to the best of their ability
• As a minimum, must have completed level 3 Food Safety certification and have knowledge in HACCP
• Knowledge of appropriate systems to support operational processes– Micros Simphony (or relevant POS), Procure Wizard and Dimensions
• Knowledge of working to brand standards relating to food and the ability to create and deliver appropriate menus, using appropriate suppliers and product

Finance Assistant

Morgan Hunt is working with a Charity in East London who are looking at recruiting a Finance Assistant. This is a 3-month contract role paying up to £24 p/hour and will be fully office based.

Key Responsibilities of the Finance Assistant:

• Update financial spreadsheets with daily transactions, process invoices, and follow up with clients, suppliers, and partners as needed.
• Perform monthly income and expenditure reconciliations, control accounts reconciliation, and bank reconciliations using Sage software and Excel.
• Reconcile accounts to the trial balance stage and handle monthly payroll timesheet reconciliations.
• Provide financial reporting on Sage, produce monthly reports for the Trustees, and offer administrative support during budget preparation and forecast.

Key Responsibilities:

• Get to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions in line with our JPS values

• Develop great relationships with new and existing customers (both face to face and over the phone), understanding their needs and providing proactive advice and solutions so that you can deliver the best experience possible

• Use our in-house systems to process customer orders, organise delivery times, manage stock control and keep customers updated throughout their journey

• Pick and prepare customer orders in our warehouse and load onto customer and delivery vehicles

• Act as a relief driver for the branch, performing deliveries to our customers when needed in a 3.5t van

• Keep the branch and yard/warehouse looking clean and tidy, to make a great first impression on our customers

• Maintain stock levels, carrying out regular stock counts

• Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement

Required Skills and Experience

• A full, manual driving license, held for longer than 1 year

• Previous industry experience preferred but not essential

• Experience in a customer facing environment

• IT literate and a strong communicator
