Origins Lab

The overarching aim of the lab is to understand the developmental origins of health and disease (DOHaD) and translate it into meaningful clinical insights. Using data collected from multiple longitudinal birth cohorts, we utilize rigorous statistical methods including growth modelling (mixed effects models, various parametric and non-parametric models, etc.), mixture modelling (quantile g-computation, etc.), causal inference, machine learning, and multi-omics analysis.
