Applications are invited for a post of Lecturer in the Department of Psychology, Royal Holloway, University of London, starting 12 August 2025. The post is open to ambitious, research-driven scientists with a background in any area of psychology and neuroscience. There is a preference for candidates with expertise in functional neuroimaging in relevant areas (e.g. cognitive, social, affective, clinical neuroscience)”, but applications from other areas will also be considered.
The department is internationally recognised for world-class research and teaching. We were ranked 3rd in the UK for research in the last REF. We also receive very strong ratings from our students for teaching (UK NSS). The Department has excellent facilities, including MRI, EEG, TMS, eye trackers, behavioural testing suites, and social and infant observation labs, as well as strong links with clinical organisations and government, industry, and charity affiliations.
