Contract Insurance Reviews

• Review and identify issues in policy wordings.
• Timely review of all contracts to ensure terms and conditions agreed within the contract are covered by existing insurance covers available and propose amendments to bring contractual liabilities under existing insurance covers. If required, additional insurance has to be put in place in order to carve out onerous

Claims Handling

• Ensure all claims are filed and notified to brokers/underwriters timely.
• Maximize and expedite the recovery of claims by working closely with brokers, loss adjusters, insurers and internal stakeholders.
• Business Partnering
• Provide training to key stakeholders (e.g. superintendents, commercial managers) in ensuring potential insurance claims are submitted timely.

Title: Finance Executive

Reprting to: Finance Manager

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage day to day accounting functions and perform bookkeeping for AR, AP and GL
• Manage AR receipts, AP payments and monitor ageing report together with bank reconciliation
• Work closely with finance team to ensure PnL and other reports are done within stipulated timeline
• Work closely with operation team for daily orderings and liaise with suppliers for any discrepancy on orders and invoices
• Prepare, maintain, and review purchase price lists and highlight for the price changes

Requirements:

• Fresh graduate with degree or diploma in finance are welcome.
• Highly motivated, pro-active & resourceful
• Excellent interpersonal skills and contribute to a positive work environment
• Able to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Work Location:

Accountablilities:

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations
• To prepare invoices for reporting
• Preparing all Final Disbursement Accounts (FDA)accurately and within deadlines
• Prepare and arrange "Cash To Master (CTM)"with vendors
• Process monthly AP journals, postings and schedules
• Any other adhoc tasks as assigned by immediate supervisor

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficient in Ms Excel and D35
• Numerical Skills and attention to details
• Diploma in Accountancy or its equivalent
