About the Pupils:
You'll work with children and young people who may face significant challenges, including Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and behavioural difficulties. These pupils benefit greatly from supportive adults who act as positive role models, building trust and providing the stability they need to thrive.

Your Role Will Include:
- Supporting pupils with additional needs, including those with challenging behaviour, helping them feel safe and supported in their learning environment.
- Using your Team Teach skills to de-escalate situations and manage behaviour positively.
- Building meaningful relationships to inspire confidence and encourage positive choices.
- Assisting with classroom activities, ensuring every pupil can engage and succeed.
- Acting as a role model, showing empathy and understanding while setting clear boundaries.
- Collaborating with teachers and support staff to create a nurturing and structured environment.
What We're Looking For:
- A current Team Teach qualification is essential.
- Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs, behavioural difficulties, or similar challenges.
- Resilience, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting young people.
- Access to your own transport is preferred but not essential.
Location:
We have opportunities available across South Leeds, including areas like Morley, Beeston, and Rothwell.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
