South Staffordshire College is looking to employ a dynamic, energetic, and enthusiastic full time Job Coach. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join this successful team.
Successful applicants must have relevant vocational experience and demonstrate their ability to:
* Support the College in the implementation of health, safety and security policies, strategies and mechanisms which meet legislative and other best practice requirements which provides a welcoming and safe learning environment in all College premises and campuses.
* Ensure all documentation is completed for/with learners enrolled on the supported internship programme for all stages of the programme. This will include Access to Work (ATW) documents from the Department for Work & Pensions (DWP)
* Be aware of the College's commitment to strengthen supportive partnerships and alliances with local communities, stakeholders, other education providers, employers, professional bodies, and appropriate Government departments. While supporting the College in its commitment to develop a dynamic, innovative, and entrepreneurial culture.
* Be aware of the development of student support processes and procedures that ensure that all learners have effective tutorial support, ensure their additional support needs are met and have access to appropriate enrichment activities.
* Be aware of the range services available for supporting learners' financial, personal, and emotional needs, and lines of referral.
The ideal candidate will hold, be working towards or willing to complete their level 2 (or above) mentoring/Job coaching qualification. In addition, you will need to have a flexible approach and excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.

We have a generous holiday scheme, the usual Bank Holidays, an additional 5 days at Christmas and 2 'ME' days (where you can have a day off work and do whatever makes you happy) as well as an additional day on campus spent on wellbeing.
