We are seeking dedicated experienced candidates who will work on a 1:1 basis with a child identified as having special educational needs and has an EHCP/High Needs. We are looking for someone who will work closely with our staff to support the intellectual and social developmental needs of our pupil during structured and unstructured times. The successful candidate will need to deliver personalised activities inside and outside of the classroom, which help individuals to meet their agreed provision and targets. We have an opening for an enthusiastic and energetic Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly and hard working team?We are looking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant to work alongside our children in the classroom, to help them access the teaching and learning and achieve their full potential. Resident Boarding Assistant It is an exciting period for boarding at Chase Grammar School, with a Resident Boarding Assistant now required due to growth. There are four boarding houses at Chase Grammar School and approximately 70 boarders, with the fourth house accommodating roughly 15 boarders opening in January 2024.
The Resident Boarding Assistant will play a central role in the life of Chase Grammar School. The Resident Boarding Assistant will be expected to live on site when boarders are in residence (this includes the half-term breaks) for the proper performance of their duties. The Resident Boarding Assistant will be responsible for supporting the Houseparents' in promoting the welfare, safety and attendance in lessons and activities for all the boarding students in their House, acting in loco parentis. During the school day, the Resident Boarding Assistant will contribute to academic life by supporting students in either their academic studies or during their games afternoons (depending upon experience).
The Resident Boarding Assistant will be part of the wider staff team, acting on behalf of the Principal and in the best interests of the School. This role would be perfect for a person with a “can do” attitude who is considering a career in Education and passionate about quality pastoral care.
