This is a 'coach-player' role, accountable for leading and implementing the channel strategy to achieve growth across Zscaler's Greater Asia territory. You will report to the Vice President of Channels APJ, and success will be achieved through overachieving on the regional channel plan to achieve accelerated growth. You will lead the local channel team with ongoing coaching, peering with the Sales Area VP and Regional Sales Directors to promote and implement the go-to-market strategy.
As an experienced Partner Sales Director you'll be responsible for:
- You will implement cross functional sales-oriented activities with marketing (field and digital), sales, PG days, CxO events, and delivering Partner Enablement
- You will maintain and implement process, criteria, and controls for selection, management, and performance of alliance and channel partners including regular reviews of contractual obligations with partners and compliance with Zscaler policies, procedures, and ethical standards
- You will promote the development of new GTM opportunities through intelligent mapping of partner RTM, capabilities and end customer desired outcomes
- You will work with Zscaler sales executives to influence external partners in driving strategic customer outcomes ie. Partner interlocks, teaming and strategic pursuits
- As the Regional Leader for Zscaler's channel and alliances GTM across all routes to market for the Territory, you will demonstrate the skills, vision and capacity to understand and contribute to the APJ plan.
What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- 5+ years experience leading a regional team with demonstrated growth results
- 3 or more years of experience overachieving in a high growth SaaS company
- Intimate knowledge of the partner environment across ASEAN+GCR with high trust relationships at the C-suite and Knowledge of the cyber landscape and use cases with local executive contacts across the regional partner portfolio
- Influence and steer mindset shift from legacy to cloud, old ways to new ways, from fixed to growth
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- 2+ years selling cyber security solutions with business level technical background in networking, cyber and cloud solutions and prior experience with network transformation technologies or history working in early-stage technology startups
- 5+ years Experience with deep existing relationships across Global Service Integrators, Service Providers or born in the cloud partners or 3 or more years of experience working with Alliances partners with delivered profitable GTM success
