The Client Marketing Sponsorships Senior Manager, will lead, design and execute co-marketing programs in collaboration with the team of client marketeers in the various markets, aiming at supporting our key clients across Asia Pacific with our sponsorships, including both strategic plans and tactical campaigns. You will also work in collaboration with the regional Client Marketing Services Team, develop an understanding of our client’s business strategies and needs and use that to identify opportunities for joint marketing programs that deliver growth for the client and for Visa.

Reporting to the Head of Sponsorship Marketing, this role will lead Visa towards the big events that will happen in the coming years: the activation of Red Bull racing with a focus on the 4 AP races (Australia, China, Japan and Singapore), the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympic Games, The FIFA World Cup 2026, as well as a myriad of regional and local sponsorships.

Working closely with our client marketing teams, you will be the internal sponsorship specialist for clients, partners and merchants and offer the right marketing assets and services, with compelling, persuasive, engaging and actionable communications.

This role will be based in Singapore, but focus is across all AP markets. This is a key role in a Marketing function which is growing at a very fast pace, with high visibility within the organization.

• You will help with the assessment and growth of new opportunities within sponsorships as the industry evolves, such as the exponential growth in gaming and the role Visa has to play

Qualifications

As a candidate you should have:

• Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in marketing, preferably with strong background in sponsorships
• You will have a solid marketing background and experience in managing a variety of effective, end-to-end customer marketing programs, including consumer acquisition, spend campaigns, loyalty programs, communication and promotions.
• You will understand what it takes to successfully develop relationships and deliver co-marketing programs with large enterprise clients, having ability to interact with multiple stakeholders and matrix decision-making.
• You will have very strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
• With superior attention to detail, you will execute with discipline, in compliance with underlying policies and keeping accurate trackers and reports.
• You will manage, stretch and inspire local agency partners to execute integrated marketing programs and communications with client banks.

Team Summary

The scope and mandate for the Global CMS Deals Team is:

• The initial scope is focused on Money Movement (Visa Direct, Account, Wallet), with coverage expanding over time to include Treasury, B2BC, OTA/Virtual, and VCS Services. Client coverage spans all ecosystem participants including originators, financial institutions, fintechs, enablers, and technology partners
• The CMS Deals team is the primary partner to sales teams in all aspects of deal development, deal approval, and deal lifecycle management, including crafting the right structure, determining the right price, securing appropriate client commitments, building insightful deal review materials, maintaining decision records, and supporting contract drafting, negotiation, and execution.
• In addition to supporting deals, team members also partner with global and regional leaders on strategic deal-related projects, working on both crafting strategies and tactical implementation, giving the role a unique “high-low” element. Key projects include:
• Implementation of new/revised pricing for new and existing products
• Ecosystem evolution as new competitors emerge and as Visa’s market commitments evolve
• Commercialization of new use cases
• Standardize and scale deal processes for existing, more mature use cases
• The team collaborates with a wide variety of SMEs including Sales, Legal, Product, Rules, Technology, Risk, CCM, Client Services, Controllership, Pricing & Interchange, as well as Regional and Global executives and deal approval bodies, and as such the role requires strong communication, relationship management and stakeholder management skills.

What a Senior Manager, Deal Modeling does at Visa:

• Responsible in optimizing deal outcomes by leveraging best practices and seeking creative win-win deal structures
• Contribute to developing and enhancing best practices around commercial structures, legal terms and other deal assets (e.g. client proposals and pitch materials) that can be leveraged for future deals, including providing advisory support to sales teams
• Contribute to efficient, effective, streamlined infrastructure and processes for managing deals across Sales teams, Product, Legal, CCM, Interchange, Pricing, Finance, Controllership, Rules, and Strategy & Operations Teams.

Deal Finance is a key partner to sales partnering find the right deal structure and the right price and also helping sales and business leadership evaluate the trade, i.e. “what is Visa giving?” and how does it compare to “what is Visa getting?” Deal Finance roles are revenue impacting roles that significantly impact deal outcomes (win vs loss, good vs bad price, fast vs slow deal). Those in the role receive significant commercial exposure and insight and each deal directly impacts the CMS P&L.

What you will need:

• 10 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree; 8 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD) or a minimum of 6 years of work experience with a PhD.
• 5 years minimum experience [MT1] in Finance/ FP&A, deal modelling.
• Financial modelling skills and advanced excel skills are essential.

Job description:

• Oversee supervisory and regulatory reporting for the SEA sub-region, ensuring all reporting timelines are met including to efficiently handle supervisory and regulatory notices and requests including consultations, queries, and operational security events.
• Lead the preparation of deliverables to meet Visa’s compliance obligations, by engaging internal stakeholders - Government Engagement, Legal, Compliance, Product, and Finance departments and providing timely updates to the respective Country teams.
• Actively collaborate with internal stakeholders across various functions to influence policies and reporting changes, as well as to manage regulatory outcomes. Implement necessary adjustments to ensure compliance and minimize business disruption.
