You will join the administrative team within the Institute of Dentistry, one of five institutes to make up the School of Medicine, Medical Sciences & Nutrition. You will be located in the Aberdeen Dental Hospital & Institute building on the Foresterhill site.
You will be part of the Institute of Dentistry administrative team which is responsible for providing high level and varied administrative support to our Dental programmes and to the general day to day operations of the Institute.
The Senior Institute Administrator leads the small team that provides essential support to staff, our students and our NHS colleagues ensuring that varied administrative tasks across education, assessment, quality assurance, systems and student administration and senior staff support is organised and efficiently managed. You will work closely on a day-to-day basis with the Institute Administrator and Senior Institute Administrator on operational issues relating to education, student training and student administration. You will liaise with both University and NHS administrative, clinical and academic staff as well as with dental and other healthcare professionals and students.
Salary will be at the appropriate point on the Grade 3 scale, £23,706 - £25,138 per annum and negotiable with placement according to qualifications and experience.
