Ensures compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act (OSHA) re.....
- Ensures compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act (OSHA) requirements and Privacy Act data protection standards, including USMEPCOM, Department of Defense and applicable service regulations and directives.
- Reviews medical records, performing detailed medical histories and physicals in accordance with Department of Defense standards, evaluation of labs, completion and accurate profiling; and communicates with consultants and Service waiver authorities.
- Reviews the results of all diagnostic testing performed in the MEPS medical department for disqualifying issues.
- Conducts complete face-to-face medical histories on applicants who have completed the prescreen process as above and been authorized to process.
- Evaluates for injuries, deformities, defects, disorders, etc of all systems including dental, psychiatric and behavioral disorders and a standardized orthopedic-neurological examination.
- Determines if a more detailed physical exam of problem areas is required.
- Communicates directly with applicants on issues regarding abnormal findings personally or in writing.
- Communicate changes to the medical staff for input into the USMEPCOM unique applicant database.
