JOB DESCRIPTION
- Promote the Company by establishing a loyal and regular customer base, maintaining a regular customer database and personalising customer service.
- Manage the Company’s publicity by maintaining the websites and social media platforms.
- Work with the General Manager to achieve the targeted revenue and profit.
- Assist the General Manager in planning, organising and executing the marketing campaigns, promotional activities and the necessary logistics matters.
- Responsible for overseeing the success of the marketing campaigns, promotional activities and events.
- Liaise with vendors to make necessary logistical arrangements.
- Liaise with local media to attract the crowd and increase public awareness of the events so as to maximise the event attendance.
- Find ways to build rapport with vendors and customers to build loyalty.
- Monitor the ratings and both positive and negative feedback from customers on social media platforms.
- Help devise a robust public relations plan in response to negative or damaging review or feedback in order to repair and protect the Company’s reputation.
- Analyse data and conduct market research to reach out to the target customers and expand customer database.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all facilities and services provided by the company and identify the opportunities for up-selling and promotions when necessary.
- Assists the General Manager in overseeing the service of the Restaurant.
- Greet and coordinate the seating of guests, and assign guests to tables suitable to the size of each group.
- Recognise the regular guests and highlight to the General Manager about the particular guest’s preferences.
- Ensure guests’ requests are not delayed.
- Record and report all guests’ complaints to the General Manager immediately.
- Handle emergency and difficult situations.
- Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness, the maintenance of furnishings and equipment and the proper set up of in the Restaurant and connected areas or pantries.
- Assisting the General Manager in Implementing and developing of training programs.
- Participate in monthly physical stock take, including but not limited to plates and utensils.
- Attend all team briefs as required.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
