What will I do?

You will be a strong leader who has the ability to articulate a vision for the hotel, embed our new values, being able to narrate how we are doing and where we are heading, influence and move the whole team in one direction, together. You’ll have responsibility for all aspects of the operation including guest and employee satisfaction, people management, financial performance, sales & revenue generation and delivering a return on investment.

Is this the role for me?

Passionate about continually driving top line performance
Previous experience operating a large M&E, Leisure & Spa, or multifaceted hotel
Proven track record in developing, rolling out and operating successful concepts
Strong leadership, communication and influencing skills
Create a culture focused on delivering the highest levels of customer scores and online reputation
Have visibility within the property
An ability to think for oneself whilst understanding the difference between autonomy and accountability
Strong business acumen coupled with knowledge & understanding of all commercial and financial aspects of hotel operations
Identify potential opportunities and challenges and devise strategies to deal effectively with both
Highly passionate & driven about hospitality

Oxford Belfry Hotel & Spa is located just outside Oxford in Thame and is a 4*, 154-bedroom property. Our hotel has several dining options include the Spires restaurant, bar & lounge area and the Courtyard. We offer afternoon tea as well as private dining and meetings and event spaces. The leisure facilities include a gym, pool, sauna, tennis courts, fitness classes and a relaxing Elemis spa. This is an exciting time for the hotel as we are imminently de-branding to become a fully-fledged QHotels property.

What will I do?

You will be a strong operational leader, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel across a multitude of departments, including food & beverage, housekeeping, kitchen, maintenance, front of house amongst others.  You’ll be an engaging Manager, a natural with building strong relationships, working together with the Head of Departments to ensure guest experience is at the forefront!

Is this the role for me?

Previous experience as a Manager – either a General Manager within a smaller property or currently a Food & Beverage Operations Manager seeking a step up into Operations Management
People management experience
Commercially astute
Strong knowledge of the industry, latest trends
Highly passionate & driven about hospitality

What will I do?

You will be stationed in a variety of Food & Beverage areas across the hotel ensuring guest satisfaction and brand standards are met. You will keep up to date with pricing and promotions in order to provide advice to guests and maximise sales.
