Stroud Resourcing is recruiting for a Lead Scrub Theatre Practitioner (RGN/ODP) to join a welcoming and collaborative private hospital based in South-East London. This is a full-time role offering a salary of £50,000 and excellent benefits package. Working hours are 37.5 hours across 5 days, Monday – Friday with very occasional Saturday working. Condensed hours across 3 or 4 days may be considered for the right individual.
It’s an incredibly exciting time to be joining this hospital as they’ve recently expanded the hospital, invested in their Theatre department, and refurbished several key patient areas. Its facilities include 3 theatres, 1 endoscopy theatre, 40 beds, a state-of-the-art imaging department, on-site pharmacy, and cardiac diagnostic facility. They offer a variety of surgical services for both adult and paediatric patients including Orthopaedics, ENT, Plastics, Gynaecology and General Surgery.
In this Lead Operating Department Practitioner role, you can expect to:
- Provide visible clinical, professional, and managerial leadership to Theatre team, promoting a positive approach and cohesive teamwork.
- Working closely with the Theatre Manager you will support the growth of the surgical services within the hospital.
- You will be responsible for the preparation of operating theatres & suites, ensuring all necessary and emergency equipment is available and in working order.
To apply for this Theatre Scrub Team Leader role, you must be a qualified RGN (with current NMC registration) or ODP (with current HCPC registration) with previous experience as a Lead Theatre Practitioner. We also welcome applications from experienced Senior Theatre Practitioners looking to step up into a management role. Experience working within experience in ENT, Orthopaedic, General surgery and Neuro surgery is desirable but talented individuals working in other specialities will be considered.
