Main role and responsibilities:

• Responsible for the operations of the vessel and safety guidelines.
• Maintain and upkeep the condition of the vessel.
• Liaise with Management and Client of any issues or incidents to minimize down time and unnecessary delays.
• Comply with all MPA and statutory regulations at all times.
• Perform lookout duties on the craft;
• Handle craft’s mooring ropes during berthing and unberthing;
• Maintain cleanliness of the deck, engine room and wheelhouse of the craft;
• Assist passengers in their safe embarkation and disembarkation

Requirements:

• Minimum. Steersman qualification
• Well organized and punctual
• Proficiency in English language
• Able to work on weekends and public holidays

• Assist Director, Security and Projects in ROV relate project management to ensure successful delivery of projects, contractual requirements and business goals.
• Provide ROV related engineering support and review of documentation to meet contractual obligations.
• Manage project administration and finance management.
• Assist in the conduct of Project Management Meetings.
• Operate the ROV in a safe and responsible way.

The responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to, those contained in the following statements:

1. direct liaison with stakeholders in charge of project services (procurement/ draughting/ assets/ human resources);

2. specify scope of work and budgets for engineering activities, assets and 3rd party activities;

3. to be conversant with all items and conditions of the project both technically and commercially and to have a full understanding of the scope of work;

4. implementation, control and monitoring of overall safety and quality assurance in all project related activities as laid down in the company’s management system;

5. preparation and maintenance of budgets for the project assisted by the cost controller

6. preparation of the monthly reporting internal & external;

7. ensuring variations between actual costs and budget are monitored and controlled;

8. identifying and initiating any variations towards the client or approve/ reject variations from third parties on the basis of the contract T&C’s;

9. liaise with the client and ensure that project meetings are held with relevant personnel;

10. establishing all the resources from company’s departments needed to carry out the project.

11. encourage any technical developments or suggestions that will enhance the overall project engineering or operational efficiency;

12. ensure that all aspects of project administration, engineering and operations fulfil the contract requirements and are conducted in a safe, efficient and profitable manner;

13. conduct all activities within the management system, procedures and work instructions;

14. advise and assist commercial department with tenders for potential work;

15. ad-hoc duties as deemed required to complete the workscope.

To act as the overall assistant to project manager for delivering projects to the client, ensuring work is completes on time, within budget, and in accordance with client and company requirements.

Report directly to project manager/director.

Runs the project as an assistant on a daily basis from conception to completion on a daily basis and ensures all documentation is produced to a high standard for Reporting.
