Your responsibilities
· Analyze customer inputs and understand requirements such as Design Specifications, P&IDs, Control Narratives, IO lists, Instrument Index, Operating Philosophies, etc.
· Raise Technical Queries and clarification to customer.
· Perform I/O to Controller Assignment.
· Creates work plans and cost estimates in one’s area of responsibility.
· Define Software Concepts and make write-up for Functional Design Specification.
· Develop configuration and test guidelines.
· Define third-party interfaces (Modbus, Profibus, OPC, etc.)
· Develop application library (Logic as well as graphics)
· Develop project-specific application typical and application Typical Test
· Design & Develop I/O & base control modules
· Develop customized logic, complex logic, and graphics
· Develop Third party interface database/modules
· Develop an Internal test plan and Perform Internal testing
· Interacts with customers, officials, contractors and others; Attends project meetings and presents specific aspects of engineering assignments.
· Developing, selecting and applying standard techniques, procedures and tools, reporting inefficiencies and identifying improvement opportunities.
Your background
· A Bachelor degree in Control Systems Engineering or similar field.
· Excellent written and verbal skill in English
· At least 5 years’ experience in a control systems project engineering role, preferably including about 2 years’ experience in water, or used water treatment systems
· Ability to recognize and respond to dynamic demands
· Ability to relate with different groups of people at various levels of the organization
· Pragmatic approach to scope of work and work environment
· Experience in ABB 800xA AC800M programming preferred.
· Knowledge of DCS logic/graphic development & testing
· Familiar with IEC61131-3 languages, such as: Function Block Diagram, Sequential Flow chart, Structured Text, etc.
· Knowledge of various third-party interfaces and integration methods and FieldBus such as Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, etc.
· Basic knowledge on Virtualization & Cyber security preferred
· Sound knowledge of engineering techniques, processes and tools, including PLC application programming experiences (Function blocks, logic diagram, etc.)
