Job Objective
As a Quartz Glass Oxyfuel Welder, your primary objective is to contribute to the production of high-quality quartz glass components by skillfully utilizing oxyfuel welding techniques. Your precision and attention to detail will be essential in ensuring the seamless assembly of intricate quartz glass structures for the semiconductor industry.
Duties and Responsibilities
Operational Duties
· Oxyfuel Welding: Execute oxyfuel welding processes to join quartz glass components accurately, following established design specifications.
· Precision Assembly: Collaborate with the production team to assemble and weld quartz glass parts with meticulous attention to detail.
· Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain oxyfuel welding equipment, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety protocols.
· Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality checks on welded components to meet stringent quality standards and specifications.
· Process Optimization: Work with the team to identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and product quality.
Supporting Duties
· Material Preparation: Assist in the preparation of quartz glass materials, including cutting and shaping, to facilitate the welding process.
· Workshop Maintenance: Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized workshop environment for safe and efficient operations.
· Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including glass blowers and artisans, to achieve seamless collaboration in the production process.
· Training Assistance: Provide support in training new team members on oxyfuel welding techniques and safety procedures.
Experience
The ideal candidate for this position should possess a minimum of 3 years of pertinent work experience in oxyfuel welding processes. Preference will be given to candidates with specific expertise in handling open flames and operating high-temperature furnaces.
