We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Catering Sales & Event Coordinator to join our team in Singapore, East. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating catering sales and events, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring seamless event execution. This role requires a strong focus on teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Coordinate catering sales inquiries, bookings, and contracts
- Collaborate with clients to plan and execute events, ensuring their needs and expectations are met
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales and event planning process
- Utilize strong problem-solving skills to address any issues or challenges that may arise
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, demonstrating exceptional multitasking abilities
- Utilize computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, to maintain accurate records and documents
- Assist with administrative tasks related to catering sales and event coordination
- Support sales and marketing efforts to promote catering services and attract new clients

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take responsibility for the day to day co-ordination and monitoring of all functions
• Liaise with Sales Team & Culinary Team in procurement of the business
• Conduct site inspections
• To pack equipment and food for all events
• Ensure timely delivering, setting up and clearing of catering functions as per the delivery schedule.
• To liaise with clients on set-up requirements.
• Manage Service Staff
• All related task and duties assigned by the management

REQUIREMENTS

• Singaporean
• Possess Singapore class 3 driving license
• Able to communicate with customers in simple English or Chinese.
• Independent and self-motivated individual with positive attitude.
• Able to work under pressure and a good team player.
• Must be physically fit and strong as the job requires carrying of heavy events equipment.
• Able to work in a fast paced environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities

• Handle incoming event enquiries via various channel including telephone, fax and email for the Catering Team.
• Assist to prepare proposal and send out contracts.
• Daily distribution of event orders to respective departments concerned.
• Assist to generate e.g.; labels, signage, checklist.....
• Establish and maintain appropriate filing system for all past events.
• Provides administrative support to all departments.
• Maintain and order department supplies as and when needed and within budget.
• Undertake any special assignments that may be assigned on an adhoc basis.

Personality and Competencies/Skills

• Hands-on experience in managing eCommerce catering ordering system
• Able to multi task and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Great interpersonal and strong communication skills
• Exceptional keen eye for detail and critical thinker with problem solving skills
• Team player, able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)

Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum 1 years working experience in a relevant industry

Roles & Responsibilities

• Report to and assist the Operations Manager with the entire catering operations
• Assembling food items / equipment according to the event orders
• Loading and unloading of equipment and food
• Punctual delivery of food and set up of events
• Support the logistics and provide catering services including set up, fulfill service staff requirements when needed for all types of events.
• Responsible for proper care of catering equipment.
• Ensure timely delivery of all events as per the delivery schedule.
• Liaise with clients on set-up requirements.
• Ensure that vehicles are in good working condition and to maintain cleanliness of vehicle
• Exhibit excellent customer service
• Understand and comply with the mandatory hygiene standards and requirements
• Perform any other duties assigned by Superior

REQUIREMENTS

• Must possess a Class 3 driving license with clean records and good driving skills
• At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field
• Must be physically fit and strong as the job requires carrying of heavy events equipment.
• Able to work in a fast paced environment.
