Job Description

Requirements

A signal processing engineer position is available at Respiree Pte Ltd. The purpose of this role is to assist the development on new biomedical capabilities on existing healthcare products of Respiree.

Responsibilities:

• Enhance the existing signal processing capabilities of healthcare products e.g. ECG and pulse oximetry
• Design and develop new biomedical signal processing capabilities on existing healthcare products
• Analyze and process time-series signals.
• Document and present technical results
• Work with product design team to integrate development, prototyping and testing into healthcare products
• Technical documentation of new product and conducting of relevant research

Requirements:

• Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Engineering or Physics
• Strong understanding of DSP techniques (FFT, DWT, STFT, digital filters) is a must
• Experience in time-series signal analysis and algorithm development is a must
• Preferable experience of at least 1-3 years and skilled in technical know-hows and development of biomedical modalities e.g. pulse oximetry, ECG, temperature monitoring and blood pressure monitoring
• Experience in software version control using Git
• Proficient to code with python programming and skilled with libraries within python
• Excellent communication and teamwork skill

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 operation support including investigation of the issues reported and ensuring the issues are fixed as per user requirement

• Monitor application health and generate service and maintenance reports

A data scientist position is available at Respiree Pte Ltd. The purpose of this role is to develop data analytics using statistical methods, machine learning and artificial intelligence models on time-series and image data and deploy these analytics and models on a cloud-based server.

Responsibilities:

• Developing predictive analytics algorithms with time-series data
• Developing image acquisition and NLP algorithms
• Developing prescriptive analytics algorithms with multi-modal data
• Implementing these algorithms in real-time on a cloud-based server
• Develop, build and manage databases
• Work with software team and managers in the design of scalable software

A firmware engineer position is available at Respiree Pte Ltd. The purpose of this role is to develop firmware and/or software as part of a highly integrated custom embedded processing system used in products developed by Respiree.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop embedded software for new electronic products ranging from simple microcontroller-based solutions to highly complex embedded systems
• Develop software specifications based on requirements and collaborate with others to identify risk areas and evaluate alternatives or improvements
• Work with team members including hardware designers, software engineers to identify software related requirements or even system level requirements and develop corresponding embedded design strategies or architecture that meet those requirements
• Implement embedded code in accordance with defined requirements and/or specifications
• Establish software verification testing tools and methods and execute software testing activities
• Write technical documentation related to ideas, designs, specifications, instructions as per Respiree’s standards.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or Physics with experience in embedded firmware development of 3-5 years
• Demonstrated skills in developing designs with C/C++ in embedded environments including bare-metal, multi-threaded RTOS and embedded operating systems
• Demonstrated skills in using integrations with interfaces such as I2C, SPI, UART, USB, BLE and WIFI based systems and modules etc.
• Specific experience with common microcontroller and or embedded processing platforms such as ARM Cortex-M STM32 and ESP32 chipset
• Strong understanding of software development tools and methodologies used in the context of embedded systems
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
