Key Responsibilities:
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Operational Oversight: Oversee day-to-day logistics operations including inbound and outbound logistics, inventory management, and transportation to ensure timely and efficient execution.
• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and operational efficiency enhancements within the logistics function.
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with logistics service providers, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with service level agreements.
• Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track performance, analyze trends, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments such as warehouse operations, procurement, and customer service to ensure seamless integration and alignment of logistics activities.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies related to logistics operations.
Qualifications:
• Min Diploma in Supply Chain Logistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience (2-3 years) in an administrative leadership role, preferably within the logistics or warehouse industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with logistics software (e.g., WMS systems) is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
