Job Requirement

1. The RTO shall be accredited by the Institute of Engineers Singapore (IES) and/or Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES).

2. The RTO shall possess relevant work experience in the supervision of LTA Stations or PUB DTSS-TBM/Sewers-MTBM.

3. The RTO possessing work experience with TBM, deep excavations & foundations are highly preferred

4. Working Location: PUB & LTA Projects, Singapore.

Job Description

1. The RTO Shall supervise all civil, structural and geotechnical building works, including structural elements for architectural work, building services, electrical and mechanical (M&E), and specialist engineering works for compliance with the PUB/LTA’s requirements and other authorities’ and agencies’ requirements for permanent works and temporary works.

2. The RTO shall be independent and energetic to perform permanent shift work or late night supervision and project management work.

3. The RTO shall be competent with all necessary Ministry of Manpower WS requirements e.g. Work-At- Height (WAH), Lifting work, Permit-To-Work (PTW) etc.

4. The RTO shall possess high proficiency in MS Excel, Power-point and maintaining of proper daily work progress record.

Job Description

• Lead and manage the planning, execution, and completion of diaphragm wall construction projects.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution and compliance with safety and legal regulations
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and make necessary adjustments to meet timelines.
• Manage project budgets, including cost control and resource allocation.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates and resolve project-related issues.

Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Min 5 years’ experience in project management, specifically in diaphragm wall construction.
• Strong knowledge of local building regulations, safety standards, and diaphragm wall construction techniques.

Key Accountabilities:

• Update high-level schedules / internal project scheduling and key milestones for all Services projects within the portfolio or parts of schedules of projects with any criticality.
• Collect time related progress information to update progress charts.
• Key user for Ody.C, supports the Project Manager(s) on the use of Ody.C. Provide training for the team.
• Liaising with the PMs and project team on a regular basis to obtain various information for the Head of Projects
• Ensure Project tools and processes are effectively used across the Services Projects.
• Ensuring that all Project Report(s) (internal & external) are compiled in a consistent and timely manner across projects.
• Manage/Control all official correspondences with end-Customer (letters, monthly reports etc)
• Manage the project / Services business repository e.g. SharePoint
• Arranging team events with a keen focus on team building and cohesion between the various Services Project teams.
• Customer liaison – build up relationships with the customers at all levels and become a reliable point of contact for them.
• Support the setup and ensure the maintenance and operation of the Fleet Maintenance Centre which includes Visualisation Boards and other IT infrastructure.
• Support the execution of the DFQ process for all Service gates to secure DFQ GO On Time
• Provide the necessary support to newcomers in the team

Working Hours

Monday to Friday- 9am-6pm

(a) To furnish incident reports for fire incidents or related emergencies

(b) To monitor, review and put in place measures to reduce false fire alarm for the premises

(c) To prepare and submit reports to the Authority on fire or other related matters when requested

(d) To endorse annual Fire Certificate renewal with PE endorsement

-Candidates with no experience are welcome!

-Class 4 driver

-Operate a cargo container transporting machinery called “Prime Mover”

-Perform basic equipment checks i.e. scratches or dents on vehicle / container

-Able to understand basic English as briefings and communications with terminal are conducted in English

-Able to understand simple / basic computer knowledge i.e. interact with touch screen computer installed within the Prime Mover

-Ability to follow location instruction issued by Controllers

-Attention to details, especially when matching container serial number
