Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented individual to fill the role of Club Manager for our Padel court facility and business. The ideal candidate will be a customer-facing member of our team, providing exceptional to Padel enthusiasts and responsible for managing the Padel facility. This includes overseeing a successful operation, court rentals, events and activities. You are a natural party organiser and enjoy planning events, managing their delivery and delivering a superb experience for our users. You will also be required to perform daily reconciliation on revenue generated from court bookings and sales.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities
1. Padel Court Rental and Lesson Management
- Handle the scheduling and coordination of Padel court rentals and lessons.
- Respond promptly to rental inquiries via phone, email, or in-person.
- Ensure proper setup and maintenance of court facilities for rentals.
- Monitor court usage and optimize scheduling for maximum revenue generation.
- Implement strategies to attract and retain customers for court rentals and lessons.
2. Front-Facing Customer Service
- Provide exceptional front-facing customer service.
- Provide information and assistance regarding court rentals, pro-shop items, and services offered.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure a positive and memorable experience for all customers visiting the facility.
- Implement and enforce facility rules and regulations.
3. Pro-Shop Operations
- Assist customers with their inquiries, purchases, and equipment rentals in the pro-shop, providing product recommendations and exceptional service.
- Manage inventory levels, restocking shelves, and ensuring the pro-shop is well-presented and organized at all times.
- Process transactions accurately using our point-of-sale system, including credit card, and online payments.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of merchandise and maintain up-to-date product knowledge.
4. Revenue Reconciliation
- Perform daily verification of revenue from court rentals, pro-shop sales, and other revenue streams.
- Verify and record all transactions accurately, identifying discrepancies and investigating any discrepancies or errors.
- Prepare daily reports summarizing revenue, sales trends, and inventory levels, and communicate findings to management.
5. Event Coordination
- Plan and coordinate Padel tournaments and other events.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive awareness of our Padel events and facility.
- Ensure all logistics, such as equipment, inventories and staffing, are well-managed.
Education
- Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field
Required Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, or hospitality industry preferred.
- Knowledge of Sport facility operations is an asset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems.
- Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
