Accounts & Business Operations Assistant

This is a hybrid role, with the candidate needing to provide support to the rest of the team in the areas of Accounts, Human Resource and Business Administration.
Main Responsibilities:
Accounts Support duties:
- Assist with certain accounting and finance duties, including entry of accounts transactions, handle receivables and payables, general ledger and bank reconciliation, etc.
- Prepare certain monthly financial and other company reports for management.
- Provide support with regards to internal and external queries on company financial matters.
Human Resource duties:
- Handle basic HR functions (e.g: Monthly payroll, CPF contributions, work pass applications, applicable employee leave, ensure compliance with all relevant local employment laws and regulations, etc.
- Documentating company's SOPs for HR matters
Operational & Administrative duties:
- Handle order processing, invoicing and quotations, as well as manage goods inventory using the company’s SAP system.
- Assist customers professionally with their enquiries via emails and phone calls.
- Co-ordinate import/export shipments with overseas customers, suppliers, freight forwarders and also the company’s warehouse team.
- Review and identify gaps in the company’s current business operations and provide suitable recommendations on enhancements. This will include the planning, budgeting, forecasting and ensuring optimal use of all company resources to maintain/reduce overall operational costs through different initiatives.
- Perform data analysis and generate relevant tracking reports
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.
Key Requirements:
- Diploma/degree in Accounting/Business Management/Human Resource Management from a reputable institute.
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience in Singapore handling Human Resource and operational issues, with strong knowledge of both areas
- Tech-savvy and highly proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office
- Have strong sense of own initiative, highly independent and resourceful
- Meticulous with great attention to details and monitoring skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to propose feasible solutions to management
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and also deal with customers/suppliers whenever necessary
