Job Description:
Provides support to the accounting team and assists in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Key Responsible:
Account Receivables: Process and record invoices and receipts, attend to customers’ queries and emails. Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments.
Account Payables: Monitoring invoices credit term and ensure the payments to be ready on time. Attend to queries from vendors and respective ordering teams.
Financial Data Entry: Enter financial data into accounting software or spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and files for easy retrieval and reference.
Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation on financial reports, statements and schedules. Compile data and assist in generating regular and ad-hoc reports as required by the management. Provide support in compliance with all statutory requirement and other reporting e.g. GST reporting, month-end closing, year-end closing, corporate tax filing etc.
Documentation and Filing: Maintain organized and systematic filing systems for financial documents. Retrieve and provide requested documentation for audits or inquiries.
Ad hoc duties assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Associate's or bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
Prior experience in an accounting or finance support role is preferred.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
Proficiency in using accounting software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel).
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Basic knowledge of relevant laws and regulations (e.g., taxation, financial reporting).
Familiarity with general office equipment and computer applications.
