Job Responsibilities
1. Review consultant drawings to identify opportunities for value engineering, ensuring cost-effective and efficient project solutions.
2. Collaborate with consultants and contractors to monitor project progression, expedite drawings, and ensure timely project delivery.
3. Assess design, tender, and construction drawings to ensure accurate interpretation and alignment with the original design intent.
4. Work closely with other departments to keep time and cost plans updated, ensuring cohesive project management.
5. Provide expert technical support to resolve construction-related challenges, ensuring project standards and quality are maintained.
6. Implement and oversee quality assurance procedures to ensure all project deliverables meet the required standards and specifications.
7. Ensure all projects comply with relevant local laws, building codes, and industry standards, maintaining high standards of safety and legality.
8. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, integrating innovative solutions into project execution.
Qualifications
1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
2. Experience: 4-5 years of experience in a consultant role within the civil and structural engineering field.
Skills and Competencies
1. Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and other relevant engineering software.
