This company will provide expert training to help improve your statutory knowledge within this complex insurance line. Your new role Working as a Claims Advisor you will be;
Handling end to end claims from an SME client base.
Liaising with Internal & External stakeholders to investigate claims, i.e. - Brokers, Solicitors, Claimants
Liaising with government agencies
Determining what information is needed to initiate claim
Assisting claimants to recovery
Providing updates on claims progress
What you'll need to succeed To be successful as a Claims Officer, you will have;
At least 6 - 12 months within workers' compensation claims or any allied health experience
Competency in Excel and Microsoft Office products is essential.
Have knowledge of Insurance legislation and statutory framework
Proven high level communication and interpersonal skills
