Job Description:
This role sits within the Talent, Early Careers and Employer Branding team under the HR Center of Excellence pillar. The Talent, Early Careers and Employer Branding team is responsible for driving and facilitating the talent agenda across the organisation to build a strong bench strength.
Your key responsibilities will include the following:
Early Careers & Employer Branding
- Drive the Early Careers portfolio in building a quality pipeline of early career talents to ensure that short and long-term organisation needs are met
- Collaborate with local universities to drive and facilitate campus events to attract high calibre talents for our internship and graduate programmes, leveraging internal resources as brand ambassadors
- Manage the engagement and developmental components of the internship and graduate programmes, working closely with the Talent Partners, HR Business Partners, and HR Center of Excellence teams
- Evaluate and deploy robust, holistic and cost-efficient assessment tools and techniques to identify the right candidates for hire
- Continuously review the effectiveness of the internship and graduate programmes and propose new ideas to improve candidate experience and retention rates
- Enhance Keppel’s employer branding strategy as a Top Employer and drive branding initiatives to ensure consistent and impactful messaging and branding from a company-wide perspective
Talent
- Partner with business leaders, HR Business Partners, and HR Center of Excellence teams (e.g. Employee & Organisational Development), to drive talent assessments and formulate impactful talent interventions that support business priorities
- Drive the talent review exercise for your line of business to identify high potentials, develop their capabilities and careers at Keppel, and ensure a healthy talent pipeline for business-critical roles
- Analyse and synthesise people data into talent insights to enhance fact-based talent decision making for management.
- Provide guidance on market best practices to ensure that talent practices are attractive and best-in-class
- Support Head of Talent, Early Careers & Employer Branding to manage the various talent pool programmes to build and grow talent pipeline across the platforms
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- At least 8 years of relevant HR work experience, with a specialization in one or more of these domains – Talent Management/ Organisational Development/ Graduate Recruitment
- Proven ability in implementing talent strategies. Familiarity with implementing skills framework and digital talent platforms would be an advantage.
- Strong conceptual ability, comfortable in using frameworks for analysis
- Detail-oriented, well-organised and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and working with stakeholders
