The Marketing Manager will lead the development, implementation and improvement of brand level marketing plans, materials, and activities to support the company’s strategic objectives, driving brand awareness and overall business growth. This role works collaboratively, cross functionally to develop effective campaigns designed to improve our brand positioning, gain market share, and drive sales across all business channels.
As a creative leader of a rapidly growing business, this candidate will play a key role in the evolution of the James Martin brand identity, establishing brand guidelines, and putting into motion a new cohesive collection of branded collateral and multifaceted assets crafted to elevate the brand and to support the growing needs of an omni-channel business model.
Responsibilities:
- Guide and lead the creation of a portfolio of outstanding sales materials and assets to support James Martin’s positioning goals and sales objectives, including catalogs, lookbooks, and other literature and promotional collateral.
- Develop and manage multiple campaigns, leading and completing all copy for the JMV brand as well as in partnership with our key accounts, including new product launches, delivering engaging content while maintaining critical timelines.
- Ensure a consistent message is delivered across all channels for each campaign and customer segment.
- Lead the redesign and reformatting of the James Martin branded website to support the company’s positioning objectives and to improve user experience and increase engagement.
- Work closely with channel and sales managers to gather data, identifying trends and needs within each business channel, setting the groundwork for effective campaign strategies.
- Perform data analysis to update senior leadership and Channel Managers on the progress of marketing activities, reporting on the results of campaigns and instigating changes for improvement.
- Initiate and implement a series of processes, operational initiatives, agendas, and timelines to support all marketing initiatives and requirements.
- Prepare and supervise the marketing budget, reporting on a quarterly and annual basis.
- Support the National Sales Manager and Sr Design Manager in promoting James Martin at KBIS and other national tradeshows and events.
- Create and maintain a library of all marketing materials and collateral, tracking inventory and determining cycle and timing of releases.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of related experience preferred.
- Strong Creative Vision with an understanding of business objectives.
- Demonstrated, in-depth knowledge of current marketing theory and an innovative awareness to stay ahead in an omni-channel B2B business.
- Experience leading a broad range of marketing activities from briefing to execution.
- Proven experience with concept development.
- Experience successfully collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Experience motivating changes in operational processes and aligning teams to a strategic vision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Expert Skills in Adobe Create Suite in addition to Microsoft Excel.
- Process-oriented initiative-taker that has ability to work independently and as a team.

$6,374.70 - $10,450.00

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
