This is an entry level position, on a 12 month contract, open to recent graduates, school-leavers and anyone interested in starting a career in Quality Assurance (QA) within the games industry. We will consider applications from candidates with industry or QA experience, however this is not a prerequisite.

Role Description
Firefly Studios are looking for a hard working, highly dedicated individual to join our growing Quality Assurance Team (Games Testing).
You will learn and develop skills associated with Quality Assurance testing. These will include discovering and reporting defects, re-testing fixed defects, gameplay feedback and integration testing.
You will need a keen eye for detail, good reporting skills and the will to always want to get the best results possible to help shape our games. You will be required to enter defects in a clear and concise manner.
You will report directly to the project’s Producer and work closely with the other members of the Quality Assurance team so good communication skills are important.
You will test our games on various platforms including Android, iOS, Mac and Windows and may be required to work on multiple projects. You will need good organisational skills with the ability to multitask when necessary.
You will work with the Customer Support team to provide extra information to help resolve customer support issues.
While this is a junior position and will be treated as such in terms of training and expectations, the successful candidate will be self-driven and expected to manage assigned tasks through to completion independently.

- Knowledge of and interest in hunting down problems and the workings of the game
- Experience with strategy games and some historical interest
- A professional manner and experience working in a team
- The ability to work on the same game daily and keep the same level of work when doing repetitive tasks

This is a remote role with the successful candidate working from home.
Working Hours
Working hours are UK full time 9.30am – 5.30pm (including lunch hour), Mon – Fri.
