• Oversee the scheduling regular maintenance on all vehicle

• Shifting of scheduling based on day-to-day requirements

• Handle calls from drivers pertaining to any accidents or vehicle breakdown

• Verification of all ad hoc bus driver timesheet submission

• Assignment of subcontracts for outsourcing jobs

• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned

Job Summary:

The Bus Event Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth boarding, drop-off, and pickup of passengers during bus transportation for events. This role involves liaising with bus drivers, passengers, and event staff to provide a seamless transportation experience. The coordinator ensures that all logistical aspects are handled efficiently and professionally, including timely communication with passengers and drivers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Passenger Assistance:Guide passengers to board the bus efficiently.
   Ensure passengers have all necessary information regarding the route and event destination.
   Provide assistance to passengers with special needs, ensuring their safety and comfort.
   
2. Driver Coordination:Liaise with the bus driver regarding pick-up and drop-off points.
   Communicate with drivers about any changes in the schedule or routes.
   Ensure that the driver is informed of any special instructions, such as alternate routes, traffic conditions, or passenger needs.
   
3. Logistical Coordination:Manage the schedule and ensure buses are available at the correct locations at the correct times.
   Verify that all passengers have boarded before departure.
   Handle any last-minute adjustments to the route or timing, coordinating with both the passengers and the driver.
   
4. Communication:Keep passengers informed of any changes in schedule, delays, or pick-up/drop-off points.
   Communicate effectively with event managers to ensure smooth coordination between the event and transportation services.
   
5. Safety & Compliance:Ensure that all safety protocols are followed during boarding and while the bus is in transit.
   Assist in enforcing safety regulations, such as seatbelt usage and passenger conduct.
   Report any issues related to vehicle safety or passenger behavior.
