As a Fitzroy IT project manager, you will be responsible for delivering and managing exciting projects for a range of fantastic clients.
It’s a multifaceted role in which you will work with external clients and all teams within the agency to shape solutions, solve problems, and deliver great outcomes.
We’re looking for someone who will own all aspects of a project from the outset, pays meticulous attention to detail, is an amazing communicator, is always seen as ‘the voice of reason’, and can build solid relationships—both internally and externally.
The role's core responsibilities are to plan and deliver projects on time and on budget while managing and inspiring a multi-disciplinary team to produce their best work and keeping the client up to date on progress.
The ideal candidate will have experience working across both waterfall and agile methodologies. You will also have experience managing and delivering multiple projects simultaneously, and, ideally, experience using our project management tool, JIRA or similar.
We are looking for someone who:
Has 4+ years of agency experience delivering technology projects
Has the ability to coordinate internal resources and be flexible when challenges emerge effectively
Has excellent client service skills and communication
Has a solid understanding of user experience best practice
Is a keen problem solver
Has a passion for Digital and Technology
Has solid business acumen
Has experience with JIRA or other similar project management tools
Bonus skills:
Knowledge/understanding of coding languages
Knowledge/understanding of cloud infrastructure technology, specifically AWS
